So...Ive been getting more comfortable with the idea of digitally doing art from scratch, it's pretty great.
Small sketchies, fancy stuff, whatever, it keeps me motivated to keep drawing because Im exploring more and more and that feels pretty rewarding, and the more happy I am with each new piece, the more momentum I gain to keep wanting to create
Problem is I have about 4 sketchbooks that are 90 percent empty because I keep saying, "LOL I NEED TO DRAW MORE" so in an attempt to fire off a new Resolution, i get a sketchbook.
This may sound weird, but I loathe drawing/sketching sometimes, its so frustrating going through the motions if something isnt looking right, compared to how nice and clean and fun it is to fix things digitally. Im spoiled. I know.
SOOO, my dilemma is I feel seriously guilty about knowingly preferring digital sketching.
Does anybody feel like experience gained from drawing with a tablet can be translated into traditional drawing skills? I know it works in reverse, but it seems so unrealistic to expect Tablet->Pencil to work out
Happy New yera everyone! WOOOOO ANOTHER 3 YEARS BETWEEN UPDATES~!
